These terms govern your use of The IQ Test at startiqtest.com, operated by DadLink Technologies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16161444). By using the site or purchasing a report, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

The IQ Test provides an online cognitive ability test consisting of 30 matrix reasoning questions. Taking the test is free and requires no account. A full score report — including an IQ estimate, percentile, and difficulty breakdown — is available to purchase for the price displayed before you begin the test.

2. What the test is and is not

The test is an indicative measure of cognitive ability, scored against the population of people who have taken this test. It is not a clinical or psychometric instrument administered under supervised conditions, and its results are not a diagnosis, a professional assessment, or a substitute for one. Results should not be relied upon for medical, educational, legal, or employment decisions. If you need a clinically valid assessment, consult a qualified psychologist.

3. Purchases and payment

The report is a one-off purchase at the price shown on the site before you start the test. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details. Prices include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.

4. Immediate delivery and your cancellation rights

The report is digital content delivered immediately after payment. By completing your purchase, you expressly request immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that, once the report has been made available to you, you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty or not as described.

5. Refunds

If your report fails to unlock after a successful payment, or the service materially fails to deliver what was described, contact us with your payment receipt and report link and we will fix the problem or refund you. Because scores are computed from your answers, a refund cannot be provided simply because you are unhappy with the score itself.

6. Fair use of the test

You agree not to: copy, republish, or distribute test questions; use automated tools to take the test or interact with the service; attempt to interfere with scoring, payment, or the operation of the site; or resell reports. One person should complete a session on their own; results otherwise describe nothing.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site — the test items, generation system, reports, text, and design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes and may share your own purchased report freely.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or withdraw features. If the service is unavailable at the moment you have paid and this prevents delivery of your report, section 5 applies.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made in reliance on test results, for indirect or consequential losses, or for events outside our reasonable control, and our total liability in connection with any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
